Install help, troubleshooting, and contact

Install on iPhone

  1. Install TestFlight, Apple's official app for beta software, if you do not have it.
  2. Open the public beta link: testflight.apple.com/join/fAuhRHU8.
  3. Tap Accept, then Install. Updates arrive through TestFlight automatically.

In the current beta the Map tab is a placeholder and push alerts are not wired yet. Everything else works with live data.

Install on Android

  1. On your Android phone, open the latest release and download the file ending in .apk.
  2. Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android asks you to allow installs from your browser; allow it, then tap Install. This is normal for an app that is not on the Play Store yet.
  3. Open ChainCheck and pick where you are headed. No account, no sign-up.

Alerts

Open the app, tap Alerts, and choose the routes you want to watch. You will get a notification when a chain control changes, a closure goes up, or a storm warning lands on your pass. Nothing promotional, ever.
